DJCAD, University of Dundee

Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design (DJCAD) at the University of Dundee hosts the DiA core team alongside the research team that has responsibility for the rural economy sector.

The sustainability and success of Scotland’s rural economy is a vital, not only for rural communities themselves, but for reciprocal rural-urban connections and innovations for the future. The team are investigating how to support knowledge exchange (KE) and new ideas using design as a strategy for innovation, this includes the development of KE tools, methods and resources.
