PhD Candidate

Colin comes from a web development and online education background, and is now working in Entrepreneurial Education with the Design in Action project and Abertay University.

Colin’s research interests focus around online education methods for teaching marketing, management and related skills to small business, all with the aim of promoting business growth. This grew from his own business, consulting with entrepreneurs on developing a web presence, growing an audience, nurturing customers and increasing conversions, all through digital marketing, SEO, and analytics.

Colin teaches a number of open online courses to academics and businesses, including sub-jects such as ‘Teaching with Cloud Applications’ and ‘Podcasting in Education’. He’s a keen podcaster and helps others to learn the craft through The Podcast Host.
