Design in Action was delighted to partner again with V&A Museum of Design Dundee on 8th October on a Dundee Waterfront-themed Business Design Jam, hosted by MacRoberts LLP at their newest office at City Quay.
The select group of 28 participants, ranging from local SMEs, designer and creatives to start-ups and entrepreneurs, had an afternoon of ideation, discussion and discovery about the design and legal processes around developing new products and service for Dundee Waterfront.
Facilitated by Design in Action’s Leigh-Anne Hepburn, the attendees split into 4 teams to collaboratively map the business potential of one of the many sites within the waterfront development with expert feedback provided by Philip Long, Director of V&A Dundee; Ben Gray, Head of Strategy and Innovation at DC Thomson; and John Lupton, Chief Executive of Scott & Fyffe.
The winning team, Artisan, were chosen for their innovative artisan collective idea with each team member receiving a bottle of Arbikie Vodka, winners of the Best Vodka prize at the 2015 Spirits Innovation Awards.
